Q: I have a complaint or question regarding a player, team or game?

Please contact your school's athletic director as teams are first governed by them. Section V Hockey cannot respond to any complaints unless the correspondence comes directly from your school's athletic director first.

Q: A player name or stat is incorrect?

All stat changes must come from the team's head coach.  A change cannot be made otherwise.  Rosters and Stats are inputted by the head coaches so they need to be made aware of such changes as well.  Head coach's know to contact the league statistician to make such changes.

Q: How do I see past statistics information?

The active season (Regular Season, Sectionals, and Senior Select games) will always show first unless you select from the League Seasons pull down menu and select what season's stats you would like (Between the blue navigation bar and  the red bar on the right.  Below Sponsorship and Contact links).  We started using Pointstreak in the 2008-09 season so that is the only statistical information available online.

Q: How come a game score sheet has not been entered yet?

The home team has a designated person responsible to input the game within 24 hours from the time the game has completed.  Tournaments follow the same ruling, except it is within 24 hours of the tournament completing.  A Section V team playing a non-league opponent is always responsible to enter the game score sheets.  There are situations where a game score sheet is misplaced and the home team must let the league know of this so other means can be made to input the game score sheet.

Q: Game scheduling is different, who has the right information?

The league website is always the master schedule and is going to be the most accurate.  Any change made to the schedule goes under league review first and will not be made until approved.  Everyone relies on this information to be correct so always please use the schedule found on our website to be correct at all times.

Q: How do I make a game schedule change?

All games are carefully scheduled well in advance.  If game cancellations occur due to weather or erroneous circumstances, head coaches are instructed to work with their Athletic Director who then will submit requests to the league for final approval.  Then and only then will scheduling changes be made.

Q: I need to assign someone as my Pointstreak team admin?

All requests must be made by the head coach.  In order to submit that request, please ensure to include the individual's full name as well as their preferred email address.  You can have multiple individuals  designated as your team's pointstreak admin's.
